Elon Musk announced that Kanye West’s X account will no longer be seen by the public following a series of offensive posts.
On February 7, West, 47, shared a string of anti-Semitic and hateful tweets, including remarks glorifying Hitler and denouncing Jewish business partners. He also defended Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who faces federal charges, and reiterated past controversial statements about slavery and women.
His posts sparked widespread backlash, with David Schwimmer and the Campaign Against Antisemitism calling for his removal. Musk addressed the controversy after three days, confirming West’s account had been marked as NSFW and stating, “You should not be seeing that anymore.”
Before deactivating his own account, West thanked Musk for letting him vent, likening the experience to an “Ayahuasca trip.”
