🚨 TORNADO WATCH ALERT! Details about affected states and what to expect are in the comments. 👇

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued tornado and severe thunderstorm watch alerts for several U.S. states, including central Oklahoma, north Texas, and Kansas, due to the potential for dangerous storms.

Forecasts predict severe thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail. The storms are fueled by a cold front colliding with warm, moist air from the Gulf, creating a highly unstable atmosphere. This has led to an Enhanced Risk zone for cities like Oklahoma City, Norman, and Wichita Falls, where over 3 million people are at risk.

A Tornado Watch has been issued for parts of southwest Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, with threats including tornadoes, winds up to 75 mph, and hail. The situation is expected to worsen as storms move eastward, with an intensifying squall line and the potential for more tornadoes.

The National Weather Service has also warned of a major winter storm impacting the Central U.S. This storm brings blizzard conditions, damaging winds, and the risk of flash flooding in the Plains, Midwest, and Great Lakes. Meanwhile, parts of New Mexico, southeast Colorado, and western Texas face extreme fire weather conditions due to strong winds and dry air.

Residents in the affected areas are urged to stay alert, review emergency plans, and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.
