TV Network Airs Melania Trump’s Nude Photos After Trump Wins Reelection
A Russian state television channel stirred global controversy after airing nude photos of Melania Trump during a broadcast about her husband’s potential return to the White House. The segment, which aired on *60 Minutes* with hosts Yevgeny Popov and Olga Skabeyeva, featured images from Melania’s modeling career—including her 2000 *GQ* magazine spread—while discussing Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory.
Media watchdog Julia Davis of Russia Media Monitor shared clips of the broadcast on X (formerly Twitter), calling the move “highly unusual.” She noted that Skabeyeva appeared amused during the segment, while Popov remarked, *“With Melania Trump’s husband securing victory, she’s preparing for a return to the White House. Take a look at how she appeared in 2000, gracing the cover of GQ.”*
The broadcast showed several provocative photos, including images of Melania posing on furs, near a private jet, and lying across a carpet featuring the U.S. seal. A voiceover later referenced her social media activism, asking, *“What does ‘my body, my choice’ really mean?”*
Melania, who began modeling at 16, built a successful international career in Milan, Paris, and New York before settling in the U.S. Her *GQ* shoot resurfaced during the 2016 election, drawing mixed reactions. At the time, then-editor Dylan Jones revealed Donald Trump even requested a framed copy of the cover for his office.
In recent years, Melania has defended her nude modeling, framing it as an expression of art and confidence. Her memoir, released October 8, 2024, further addresses her career and includes new personal stories and images.
The Russian broadcast has reignited debate over privacy, respect, and how Melania Trump’s past intersects with her renewed role in the political spotlight.
