Man Tries To Sexually Assault Woman, She Breaks Off A Piece Of Him He’ll Never Get Back

In North Charleston, South Carolina, a would-be rapist learned the hard way that his intended victim was not going down without a fight. A **33-year-old woman** fought back during a terrifying home invasion, biting off part of her teenage attacker’s tongue after he tried to force himself on her.
According to police, the ordeal began when the teen repeatedly knocked on the woman’s door. Each time she checked, no one was there. On the final knock, however, he stood in the doorway holding a white-handled knife. He pushed his way inside, punched her, and threatened her with the blade, telling her to stop resisting. He then forced her toward her bedroom, attempting to remove her clothing.
The woman refused to give in. She kicked him in the groin, momentarily disabling him. Enraged, the attacker reportedly told her, *“Now you have to die!”* before shoving his tongue into her mouth. That’s when she made her decisive move—clamping down on his tongue with all her strength until she heard it snap.
Bleeding heavily, the teen fled the home, leaving his tongue behind. The woman spat it onto her kitchen floor before escaping in her car to a nearby business, where she called police.
Meanwhile, the suspect ran to a Waffle House on Northwoods Boulevard. His mother later phoned 911, saying her son needed urgent medical care because he “did not have a tongue.” Police later recovered the severed organ at the woman’s home and sent it with him to the hospital, though it was unclear if doctors were able to reattach it.
Authorities also found a knife matching the woman’s description, confirming her account. The case sparked outrage and discussion online, with many praising the woman’s courage and asking whether the teen should face serious jail time for his violent assault.
