A violent robbery at a residential apartment complex in Abuja has left the media community in mourning after the tragic death of 29-year-old news anchor **Somtochukwu Maduagwu**. According to the Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, **Ajao Adewale**, Maduagwu, a respected journalist with **Arise TV**, lost her life after falling from the third floor of her Katampe residence during the robbery on **Monday, September 29**.

Reports indicate that vigilantes in the compound discovered her unconscious after the fall and quickly alerted neighbors. She was rushed to **Maitama General Hospital**, where medical personnel attempted CPR, but sadly, she could not be revived.

The robbery occurred during the early morning hours at **Unique Apartments**, a three-story twin building with 18 flats.
