Amanda Wideman nearly d**d ๐ But when her heart stopped, what she claims to have seen left doctors speechless and skeptics scrambling for answers ๐จ Full story in the comments๐๐
Amanda Wideman says her life changed forever after a near-death experience (NDE) during a terrifying car accident in 2017. She and her then-partner were driving home from a music festival in British Columbia when they swerved to avoid a car that had lost control. Their vehicle collided with another and flipped, leaving them suspended upside down on a concrete barrierโjust inches from a deadly cliff.
โIn that split second, I 100 percent believed I was going to die,โ Amanda shared in a 2023 interview with *The Other Side NDE*. โI closed my eyes, relaxed all my muscles, and just let go.โ
What followed, she says, was an out-of-body experience that reshaped her beliefs entirely.
### A Glimpse Beyond
Amanda described entering a vast, dark spaceโโlike a safe, pillowy, unending cave.โ She felt completely detached from her body, yet more conscious and aware than ever before. โThere was no fearโjust peace,โ she said.
She recalled sensing a loving, non-judgmental presence that she believes many would call God. Soon, she felt surrounded by โmillions of presences,โ which brought a feeling of unity and unconditional love.
### Life After the Experience
Although Amanda and her partner escaped with minor injuries, the spiritual impact was profound. She sold her home, left her job as a paramedic, and ended her relationship.
Today, she runs a trauma coaching business, volunteers, and travels full-time. โIโm more spiritual now, less attached to material things, and deeply grateful,โ she says.
Amanda believes her NDE was a wake-up callโand a message that life, in some form, truly continues.
