Young Girl Has Never Eaten A Gram Of Sugar Since Birth – Here’s What She Looks Like Now

Australian mother **Shan Cooper** made headlines when she revealed she had raised her daughter **Grace** on a strict **Paleo diet** from birth. Instead of the usual peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Grace’s meals consisted of organic meats, fresh vegetables, fruits, and healthy fats—foods believed to resemble what ancient humans once ate. The diet excludes grains and dairy, focusing instead on nutrient-dense, whole foods like meat, fish, eggs, fruits, and vegetables.

According to Shan, the results have been remarkable. She claims Grace has been sick only once and credits the diet for her daughter’s strong immune system. “She spends a lot of time around other kids who are sick all the time, but she just doesn’t pick it up,” Shan told *Daily Mail*.

Grace’s typical meals include eggs fried in coconut oil with roasted vegetables and avocado for breakfast, organic chicken with steamed broccoli for lunch, and Paleo-style spaghetti Bolognese made with zucchini noodles for dinner. Her snacks are usually fruits like strawberries and bananas.

Shan, who holds a degree in agricultural science and authored a healthy recipe e-book, insists she’s flexible when it comes to special occasions. “If she eats a piece of bread, I’m not going to have a conniption,” she said, emphasizing that her goal is to help Grace develop a healthy relationship with food.

However, not everyone agrees. Dietitian **Dr. Rosemary Stanton** cautioned that such a restrictive diet could make it difficult for a growing child to get balanced nutrition, advising parents to consult a professional before eliminating food groups.

Despite criticism, Shan stands by her approach. “If you want to feed your kid junk food, that’s your choice,” she said. “But why people find it offensive to feed children real, healthy food is beyond me.”

Years later, Shan continues to advocate for “real food,” believing it’s the key to lifelong health and well-being.
