A Delta Airlines flight, arriving from Minneapolis, crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport, prompting a major emergency response. Emergency crews quickly arrived, confirming all passengers and crew were accounted for. The Association of Flight Attendants confirmed the incident, stating there were no fatalities. Peel Regional Police indicated that most passengers were unharmed, but investigations were ongoing.

Delta Flight 4819, carrying around 80 people, crashed on a snow-covered runway, with shocking videos showing the plane flipped on its side. Eight passengers were reported injured, though the severity remains unconfirmed.

Toronto had severe winter conditions, with nearly nine inches of snow over the weekend. This incident follows a tragic January crash involving an American Airlines jet and a military helicopter in Washington, D.C., which resulted in 67 fatalities. Investigations revealed discrepancies in the altitude data of the two aircraft before the collision.
