Just before his father passed away at 76, Jack Osbourne opened up about his true feelings toward him. 😮

Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Farewell: The Legacy of a Father, Rock Legend, and Redemption. Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic Black Sabbath frontman and heavy metal pioneer, passed away on July 22, 2025, at age 76. Before his death, he rebuilt a fragile but meaningful bond with his son Jack after years of addiction that deeply affected his family.

Ozzy admitted in a heartfelt interview that despite offering his family everything, addiction kept him from truly being there—a “very selfish disease.” Eventually, Ozzy found sobriety, which brought peace and healing to the household. Jack, now a father himself, welcomed his dad back into the lives of his children, even as Ozzy kept some traditional boundaries, like avoiding diaper duty.

A day before his passing, Ozzy shared a silent farewell on Instagram—a backstage photo from his final concert, “Back to the Beginning.” Jack presented a documentary about his father, describing him as “Funny, Unique, and Powerful.” Their relationship had softened and grown stronger in recent years, creating a lasting personal legacy.

Sony Studios is producing an unfiltered Ozzy biopic, set to film in spring 2026. Though Ozzy won’t see it finished, his influence will live on through his music, family, and millions of fans worldwide.

Rest in peace, Ozzy Osbourne. 🖤
