French showman Igor Bogdanoff passed away on January 3, 2022, just six days after his twin brother Grichka. According to AFP, Igor died “surrounded by love, children, and family.” An attorney confirmed that he died from COVID-19 complications. Both brothers were unvaccinated and had been hospitalized.

Grichka’s death was reported in late December 2021. The Bogdanoff twins rose to fame in the 1970s as hosts of popular science programs in France. Born in August 1949, they launched their first sci-fi show, *Temps X* (*Time X*), in 1979 and later hosted *Quatrième Dimension* (*Fourth Dimension*), *Prisonnier* (*The Prisoner*), and *Envahisseurs* (*Invaders*).
