Pete Davidson had a witty comeback after his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande made a cheeky remark about his manhood.
The pair had a whirlwind romance in 2018, getting engaged just weeks after going public but breaking things off by October of the same year. While their relationship ended, the conversations around it, especially regarding Grande’s revealing joke, continued.
The buzz started when a fan asked Grande on Twitter: *“How long is Pete?”*—referring to the length of the song *“Pete Davidson”* from her *Sweetener* album. Grande playfully replied:
> *“Like 10 inches?… Oh f***… I mean… like a lil over a minute.”*
While some fans found the joke amusing, Davidson took it in stride, addressing it in true comedic fashion during a 2020 *Saturday Night Live* skit.
> *“Everything is huge to her. Why would she tell everyone that I have a huge penis? So that every girl who sees me for the rest of my life is disappointed.”*
In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Davidson admitted he wasn’t genuinely upset, saying:
> *“She’s the queen of shade. … I hope people feel the same way about my jokes.”*
He explained that while he aims to be respectful, stand-up is his outlet for expressing feelings:
> *“That was a highly publicized thing. I feel like she got her fair run, and I got mine.”*
Looks like Davidson knows how to keep things light—even when the jokes hit below the belt!
